Hi everybody!
Looking for opinions on which is best for G3 RAW conversion, Breeze Browser or Adobe's RAW plugin.
Thanks!

I like the Adobe plugin MUCH better. More control over the image.

Hi RSG!
That's my opinion too.
I have the plugin, and just d/l the demo for Breeze.
Seems the plug is easier to use.

Out of curiosity, how did you get the plug-in to process RAW files? I have the version of PhotoShop (5.0 LE) that came with the G3, and I was not successful in figuring out how to download the plug-in.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

You can't :(
You need to buy PhotoShop 7.0.1 + CameraRAW Plugin.

Damn! I didn't realise that! Only just got my G3 and haven't tried playing with RAW yet. Does the Canon File Viewer s/w provide all that same functionality as the PS RAW plugin?

What other RAW specific controls do you have?

I just started using the s/w that Canon includes in the package, and it works pretty well. The nice thing is you can use the G3 settings to experiment and see what effects look like "on the fly." That way you know what to expect when using special settings with the G3.

I prefer BB over Adobe CR.
The colours on the Adobe plugin seem to be a little out of whack, especially the reds.
