display error in my computer, please help

i bought the canon powershot s230, and in the beginning it was working fine, but a couple of days ago when i took some pictures and tried to put them in my computer i got an error message saying "there are no pictures in your camera or camera folder", i'd really appreciate if somebody could help me on this, thank you.

If you cannot view the pictures from the camera, then my uneducated guess is that you have a problem with the CF memory card.

If that is the case then one of the most common suggestions is to buy a CF card reader and use recovery software to see if the data on the card can be recovered. You should be able to find such software by searching for terms such as "recovery" on these forums.
