After a break of several weeks, I finally had a soccergame to attend to last weekend. All pics were taken with a 10D an 300 mm f2,8 (my 20D didn't work at all friday night, probably because of the cold weather).

8 & 11 are the best for me, shame about the crop lopping off the hands and ball etc in 11 though.

What teams are these ? I see they have one of those 'nice' plastic pitches as well, my local club are scheduled to have one of those laid this summer. At least my seat wont sink anymore :)

Popped back to view them... but I'm still getting red crosses sadly... ;) If they're up to Raceshot's usual standards, I'm sure they're great though! ;)

@gmen : I hope you can spot them now.

@marcatkins : the teams are Germinal-Beerschot (in purple/blue) and Anderlecht (in white), two teams of the Belgian premiership. The height of # 11 isn't a crop, I just cropped it on the sides to get a square foto. The same happened with 4 and 7. The pitch isn't plastic though, it's plain grass but frozen like hell (at least my seat didn't sink away, but bounced up when I dropped it).

Great set of images. The 10D has served you well. The flare pic is stonkingly good... and, as always, I enjoy the nice tight crops.
