After I download a picture off my G2 and touch it up in Photoshop 5.0, I am unable to print the image, using Photoshop, at anything other than 600 dpi. When I click on the drop down box in photoshop, the only resolution choice is 600 dpi. Needless to say this produces images that are not nearly the quality, in sharpness and clarity, as the ones printed directly from the camera itself or the Canon Zoom Browser software.

Is there a way to increase the dpi to something greater than 600 in Photoshop 5.0?

600 dpi is pretty high, depending on the size of the photo.

What size are you trying to print at?

Perhaps you're talking about the printer dpi? In that case, it's a function of the driver and the printer.

Photoshop resolution is changed at the Image size command, and you can upsample to any size you want, but that won't improve you're image. As a matter of fact, you'll have image deterioation.
