Went back downtown last night to get some more shots and work on lighting a bit. I think this is one of the better shots from that outing, and would like to see what others have to say about it.

Thanks for looking.

Hi
Your shot is great and your efforts at capturing the lighting are highly successful.
Very well done.

That is an excellent picture. I'd be proud to have it in my collection.

Only thing I see is that it looks slightly tilted to the left, if you look at the curb, barely noticable though. I don't even think it's anything to worry about. I wouldn't... I just thought since this was the critique forum, I had to come up with something http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smile4.gif

LOL, I noticed the curb as well. In the original shot, I got much more of it. If I cropped it out, I'd be cropping out that pillar as well, and I was too lazy to photoshop it, so I just hoped it wouldn't end up being big enough to distract anyone when viewing. Seems to be ok so far.

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

I didn't even notice the tilt actually. Its a nice shot by the way... I like the lines, shadows and perspective. The only thing distracting to me really (and that perhaps is just me) is the street sign below the flag.
