After reading the postings on G1 deaths, I expect mine to go any time. It has not, but only a month after I had the camera the flash went out with a loud pop sound. After that the LED had a problem: it showed the underlying hardware circuit instead of an image on about 1/3 of the screen - not evenly dispersed. Later the LED problem went away. I was going to send the camera in for repair after the holidays.
