In Sydney on Sunday (5th) the Chinese New Year celebrations will include a parade from Town Hall station to Chinatown. It starts at 11am. Included in the parade are some 200 performers from Beijing. There will also be 4 meter high lanterns of the Dog, Rooster and Dragon.
Mark (mfunnell) and I will be meeting at 10:30am (along with another member from here (Paul) who lurks but I don't know his online nickname - I currently work in the same building with him) and any others are welcome to join in.
We will also be using it as an opportunity to try out a couple of different lenses on our cameras and the parade will give us something to aim at!
