I kinda like #2 more, if it was more in focus it would be better. But b/c it's not. #1 wins.

I prefer #2, simply because, for me, there's nothing in #1 that really puts the height of the skater in perspective.

Both are good shots, I just prefer #2...

number two if anything... good, but try not to crop so much out ... allow a bit more of the halfpipe if you shoot more shots on that sort of ramp.. also composition is a big factor...get creative.

i like number one, and as far as sense of height goes, i can see a little bit of the copping in the bottom left corner. But i also agree that you need to get creative with some of the shots.

Both good.
#1 not as popular with some people , but the other skater watching gives it enough "perspective" for me.

I think it's important to remember with sports shots - if you are "into" the particular sport , you'll probably want different pics to people people who are not. eg skaters probably don't need to see as much of the bowl or half pipe as non skaters.
