Your photos nicely convey the fact that it was a nice sunny, but yet cold day. It looks like a good place to go looking for driftwood too.

And you're right it was VERY cold. Shots were taken at about three o'clock and the pebbles on the beach were still covered in frost.

It's been like this for about a week now. To be honest, I was looking for the railway and got lost :-(.

So I went down to the hotel at the beach. Didn't want to go home without anything to show for it !

I drove through Garmouth on the way there. It's a bit of a rabbit-warren isn't it ?

A bit! I lived in the house right next to the SPAR shop that used to be a fish shop... a real batchelor pad it was too! Have to say the path to the railway wasn't that easy to find as I recall.. I will have to go and dig out some of my old pics and scan them!

Nice shots, Gary. I just love the second one the softness of the light with the shadows. The detail is great. Thanks for sharing. :)
