Hello,
Heading to a badminton tournament this weekend and I want to take some nice photos. Anybody with an S2 and has had experience shooting inside a gym...any good tips for camera settings? I'll probably be using the zoom quite a bit...any help is appreciated
Thanks,
Tyler

You'll probably be pushing the S2 pretty hard, unless the gym has a lot of light. Those rackets and the bird will be moving fast, and you may get nothing but blurs without a pretty fast shutter speed -- unless you're allowed to get somewhat close and use a flash (not likely). There's been some discussion very recently on the "G" series forum about gym pictures... some of the tips there will be appropriate to the S2 as well. I wouldn't zoom in any more than absolutely necessary... long zooms will aggravate shake and bluriness, even with IS. If you can use a tripod or monopod, it will help, but then your mobility is a bit compromised. Good luck!
