(For those of you who don't know, bands like the Grateful Dead, Phish, etc, are friendly with the taping community and encourage fans to record and take pictures of their shows.)
I'll be seeing Phil Lesh at the Beacon Theater soon, however, I can't find Beacon Theater's policy on cameras. I sent an email to try and contact someone on the musicians' side, but haven't gotten a response. I've called the Beacon, but they just keep telling me over and over that no audio recording of any sort is allowed. I spoke to someone who went to a recent show and she said security only bothered people with their flashes on (read: retarded 16 year olds with disposable cameras who thought they'd get awesome shots if only they turned the flash on to illuminate the place).
Any POTN NY'ers have any input regarding photography at the Beacon?
