okay, so now that it's winter I've finally got around to processing some of my IR shots from the summer. This is one of my faves. I took it with a Sony F717 and of course Hoya R72 and an ND8 attached as well. I thought it was kind of fitting now that winter is here, even though this was taken in the summer. Any comments appreciated.

That's wild! I really enjoy these shots. This one is particularly nice because it's well composed in addition to a good IR.

For my processing, I used levels first, then under hue/saturation, take the green channel saturation all the way down to the left (-100%). then on the master channel, I take the hue to anywhere from 40-60 depending on the effect desired. The saturation I take from 110-130, again depending. I tried swapping the red and blue channels, but never got good results with that. I then play with the contrast to make it pop a little more.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't thought about using Hue/Saturation with my infrared work. I've mostly made use of levels, and some processing with Camera Raw. Good work!
