View Full Version : Tokina 12-24 Portrait/Landscape lens?

Could the Tokina 12-24 be used for both landscape and portrait shots. Kinda almost like group shots rather than portrait since I have 3 girls. I really getting the bug for this lens and I'd love to hear/see more feedback/pictures on this lens.

It's an amazing lens, one I may buy again...the build quality is robust as well.

It's a landscape lens but I did use it to take the family's passport photos.
It's a very good lens.

It's a great buy and you can use it for portraits, you can even shoot birds with it if you want :p but it's not best suited to those tasks. You'd be better with a 50mm or 85mm. If wide angle is your main thing tho' it's an exceptional buy.

Sigma4Less sells it for $439...no tax if you do not live in NY...they get you on shipping though...but still much cheaper than anywhere else!
