Ok, I've read through the manual and searched the Web site reviews but can't find info about shooting in RAW with the SD400. Is that correct? There is no RAW setting?

I just checked the Canon PRoducts Page - there is no mention of RAW, so I don't think the SD400 has that option.

Unfortunately, the SD- series doesn't have many of the advanced options found on other Canon models. There's not even a full Manual mode (where you can set ISO, aperture, and shutter speed). :|

I can't complain. I won this camera in a raffle.

If the S series doesn't have it anymore, why would the SD?

That's incorrect. I have an SD200 and an SD450. Both have manual modes where I can choose from iso 100-1600 and change the shutter speed. Come to think of it, even my old SD110 had those manual settings. I remember taking some killer nighttime photos of Christmas light displays that way without flash. There is no aperture settings of course.
