Anyone suggest some good (inexpensive ) software for producing dencent web photo galleries.

Ideally I would like something that allows you to select images and converts them to WEB SIZE PICTURES AND gives a reasonable choose for layouts.

thanks

http://www.mediabeeld.nl/myphotosite

not free but very easy to use and:

Full Windows XP native interface using drag n 'drop through the whole application

- Work locally all the way until you upload, no on-line time required while setting up or adjusting your photo site

- Non-destructive image adjustment (brightness, contrast, gamma, white-balance, rotation)

- Built-in JPEG compression available, can load other formats too

- On-the-fly smart thumbnail creation when arranging your galleries

- Direct export to FTP server or local directory

- Smart algorithms to ensure minimum upload activity and thus on-line time

- Perfect resize algorithm for shrinking and enlarging your photos

- Resize your pictures locally (=fast) instead of needing to upload them to some free website that does it for you only then

- Templates to modularize the output of the program, both in export directories or on the FTP server

- Templates are editable for those that know their HTML to make the output as personalized as possible

- Free updates of the application

- Ease of use (just select your transferred camera photos, adjust them, and upload immediately!)

- Works on Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000 and Windows XP

Try BreezeBrowser from www.breezesys.com (free for max 12 images) - it has HTML generator.
