Personally, I'd prefer to see just one rose, with an uncluttered background and enough depth of field to keep it sharp...

The lighting/exposure on the first shot seems harsh, on the second I want to see the stalk illuminated as well... Great as it is, I'm not sure this is the LSII's strong area...

The great thing about flowers is that unlike models, you can just keep trying different things and learn from them... they don't moan.. Go play some more and show us what you achieve..

I agree with tim, and I also think that a slightly less cluttered background would be nice :D

also - is that "A rose buy any other name" a pun on words, or just a spelling/grammatical error... :)
