Hello everybody,
I got myself a 10D two weeks ago, and I am extremely happy with it.
I am one of those who came from the Sony F707 world. So this camera is quite the challenge to me. I am still learning.
BTW, the first two days of having the 10D, I regretted every penny I spent on it. The third day I loved it so much I was thinking about getting a job as a photographer! (Although I'm new to the tool, I am still an artist, as in painting & sculpture).
So any advice is always welcome.

P.S. None of these pictures were straight out of the camera, except the one with the red truck. The rest were Photoshopped. The last pic is also a link to a full size, please check it out. I couldn't do all of them in full due to the my webspace limit.

Here's the link: http://home.att.net/~hatem

Thanks for reading!

Good job you didn't take it back, they are a nice set of images!
I especially like the bird of prey, I couldn't identify it easily (small image combined with me using a 10.1" 1024x767 display!) - what is it?
The bike was a nicely exposed shot, you can really see how much detail the 10D can capture there.

KEEP THAT CAMERA! :D

What a good days shooting you put in on day three :)

I would bet the Raptor is a Red Tail,.. but it is hard to tell for sure...

Great photos.

You are correct! That hawk is a Red Tail. I work in a lawn-tennis club here in Philly, and I get to see that hawk once a week at least. That picture was taken right after the hawk had finished a meal consisting of a rat! I actually got a shot of it with the blood still on the hawk's claw, and THAT made me a photo lunatic! I was using the 28-135mm at the telephoto end. Unfortunately, the picture had to be cropped, and hence the lower resolution.
I will try it again.
I am positively keeping this Japanese Brick!
