I took this one a while ago, as we were starting to pull out of my wife's
brothers' house, his two kids got up and walked to the edge of the porch
and as they reached the edge the light from behind made silhouettes of
them, dropping their faces all to black. I reached quickly for my camera
and took this shot from my car, I like the tilt they have standing there
as well as the parrot on the side in the cage watching on, just a bit
surreal eh?

I really like this shot, but I agree with Tlee that it has something of a "freaky" quality. Very nice capture :).

That was my first impression as well !

Thanks all, images are just that, captures of a slice of time, one reason we should have our cameras always at the ready...

lol, I can almost hear it too, for me I almost expect to see Rod Sterling to one side, holding a cigarette and the smoke slipping up to the ceiling.

That really does give me the creeps. It's as if they have just gotten up and are coming towards you...and given the fact you can't make out any detail to their faces etc - makes your uncertain of what to expect!
