To post a couple non-Canon shots. See, in the span of a year I went from a Kodak Point and Shoot 2.2 Mpixel, to an Olympus Camedia C-50, to the 10d. Some images that I am proud of are from one of those two cameras. Less (no) control over the camera made me rely more on taking what was in front of me. Both are from last Septembers trip to Germany
The first was taken from the peak (2964m) of Zugspitze, looking into Austria.

I watched the cloud roll in for 10 minutes, then, when it hit the last ridge before Zugspitze, it exploded straight up, just as an ocean wave would as it crashed into a rock.
The next was taken in Ladenberg, a small town somewhat north of Stuttgart. It is the childhood home of my finace (pictured.) The cafe's special of the day was Onion Cake - Zwiebel Kuchen.

Why I like this image is that I get the sense that she is *presenting* the cafe. Think "Price is Right) model. I know that it is clearly a point and shoot image, but I pine over what I could have done if I had had the 10d last year!.
Thanks for looking, please comment.
