To be printed 8x10 portrait. If I go tight enough to eleminate the woman on the left, then I also have to give up the glove in hand, most of the sash, OR the hat and umbrella. What would you do?
Thanks,
Radtech

Right behind the womans outer most part of her hair on the left just leaving a bit of her back in the frame. You'd never know what it was in the frame. Then maybe blur the bacground.

Well this is tough. I do not think that cropping can save the day.

The message is not clear. We are in close on this bright colored suit and gloves. But we really are distracted by the women.
If you crop a vertical slice of this already tall and slim image, it becomes too thin. Then (IMHO) you may want to crop below the hands and shoulder banner.

hope you don't mind.
I couldn't see any other way as there is too much
overlapping with everyones bits (arms, gloves etc)
( and you ask in the subject line
'where would you crop this' )

Marie,
Thank you and dare I say, DUH!!!
I got so involved with every aspect of the image that I did not want to give up anything. Thank you for the fresh perspective. As soon as I saw your crop, I realized that it was there for the taking, I just couldnt see it.
Also,
(off topic)
Your close reminds me of one of my favorite jokes...
Did you hear that they came up with a self help group for people who talk too much?
