downloader works, now doesnt, help!

i lost my zoombrowser disk and when i switched machines i installed breeze downloader 1.5.

all was well, i downloaded various pics from my canon G1.

then today, it shows "Canon G1" listed in the dropdown of detected cameras, but then tells me "cannot connect to camera" (i might have the exact text a little wrong but you get the idea).

i uninstalled the USB drivers and downloader, then reinstalled several times, but i still have the problem.

the camera shows "PC" on the LCD, so something is happening.

any suggestions on how to get it to work again are appreciated.

What operating system are you using?

win2000, on a 1ghz pIII

i was not able to get it to work, bought a card reader to get the pics off today, which is cheap but very clumsy to use.
