Remote Capture

Been using G2 for ages - just decided to try Remote Capture. Have latest version, but can't get camera to connect. Have tried both record and play - and anything else I can think of. Camera links with computer normally no problem - but can't get Remote Capture software to see the camera.
Am on Mac OS 9.2.
any thoughts?
