Well i had searched for somekind of rubber grip to add to my xt as it kinda gets slippery for me when my hand gets sweaty. I didn't want to use the egrips at first but running out of options i decided to get them.
Bought at Radio Shack for $8, i used 1 thin 1" piece between the lcd and +/- buttons, 1 1" thin piece on the cf card cover, 1 1x1.5" piece on the hand grip portion for the palm, and another thing 1" piece below that on the battery grip where the pinky finger would sit. I can't believe how much easier it is to hold the camera. Yes i have the kneck strap and the hand strap but it did make a big difference. I'll try and post pics later.

Thanks for this, may solve a slightly different problem for me, I hold on too tight (something to do with fear of droping expensive equip on the ground ;) ) and end up with cramps after an hour of shooting.

I just have the E-1 hand strap and neckstrap and hold the stuff kinda loose so my hands don't get too sweaty. If I let go my neckstrap will keep it from banging the ground.

Or you can attach skateboarder tape to your camera... ;)

skateboarder tape as in deck tape, that rough stuff? I had thought about that. I also thought about the rubber grip stuff for baseball bats and tennis raquest, but it was to thick to use.
