noisey lines on mycanon a 60 lcd and dark pic

Hello all, noisey line son my lcd and they apear in the pics as well , previously i used to switch of lcd and take pics ths used come fine , now all the images even with lcd off are coming dark and the flash as such has zero effect. :(

i am using canon a 60

anyone else faced any similar problems ???

It sounds like you may have a failing CCD chip in your camera. A bunch of Canon, Sony, Nikon, Olympus... digital cameras all have the same Sony CCD chip in them, and they sometimes fail. The good news is that Canon repairs this issue free of charge (regardless of the warranty status of the camera). For more information:
