This game was very close the whole way and very entertaining, a shame the home team had to lose the first playoff game, though.

Here are a few of my favourite shots.

1D MkII N
f2.8
1/640th
ISO 800

Still not quite sure how to work the curves thing properly, so I avoided that, but brightened some of them up with the shaddow/hightlight (1-5% bump). Some were cropped, some weren't. I ran them all through Noise Ninja, profiled each image, and whatever sharpening it applies is all they've seen.

Bailey of the Wilcats soaks up some much-needed nutrients before continuing play.

Bobby "The Brick" Brannen rushes anyone game to stand in his way.

Hogey pushes through to drop in for 2 points.

Shooting through a sandwich as big as Hogey isn't always easy as he smashes it away to save the points.

Last, and most certainly least.
Hogey, the Bullets' tallest player standing at 6'11" tall towers over the Wildcats' shortest player, Bailey, who stands at a modest 5'8".

You've captured some excellent action and I really like the tight crops. However, they appear to be underexposed to me. You might want to try ISO 1600 -- I'm almost certain you'll find the noise to be acceptable.

Great shots!

Did the noise ninja make a big difference?
