A little work in Aperture and Photoshop, turned out ok...
Sigma 70-200, iso 1600, tv 320, noise ninja-ed, cropped, and saved for web in CS:

Not bad, I also shoot through the glass as I prefer the angle and the ability to capture a player heading towards the net. The exposure looks good and their is nice detail in the shot. Do you have more?

I can post a couple more tonight... I usually shoot from the penalty box, but the other day I cleaned some glass from the inside of the rink so I could shoot through it.

Through the glass... very nice. I have only shot hockey once recently and then I shot over the glass... this is a dandy of a shot. Perhaps I will give the through the glass thing a try.

Looks nice. I am more of a close cropper so iwould have cropped it closer...

But nice detail...post more..
