10D Focus issue

Anything I shoot under F8 is mildly out of focus. Have a 75-300, and 24-85 lenses - same problem on both (Not "L"). Tried Sharpness +2, better but not fixed. F8 or above no issue - images have a sharp focal point.

Shot focus test with lenses wide open, focal point is most in focus but NOT tack sharp. Entire image spongy.

PS - Unsharp Mask will help but will not fix.

Curiously it appears that RAW images are slightly more prone to this problem than JPEG's - which seems wierd.

About to send the camera in for service, before I do any ideas?
