Dead end sign

Does this look like a dead end?? Today, was a wonderfully cold sunny day...I went out with my camera....

nice shots, they are VERY busy though, what were you trying to point out in each shot?

I was looking for a spot to capture the flags in post
"5 flags then there was 4".
I was excited do to the sunny weather.
I took a few busy photos with a common denominator..
The Sign.. nothing special..

I find the first one too busy - some closer cropping might solve it. The composition in the 2nd one is very interesting, I kind of like it. Certainly the lines in the 2nd one are great. For those of us who live in urban environments like that, showing a 'busy' scene is perfect.
