Taken 2003 with G1 (levels, usm, no cropping) - one of those pictures I like to see again and again.

Well,if you realy look at the picture you can see alot going on there.
A whole culture being unfolded in front of you with the ironning board and the chair for the cool and late afternoon chat with the neibhour during the ironning and a cool frappe coffee and so on...
But ofcours someone has to be from the Med.to start seeing things like that.

...perhaps a very proud down and out making sure that his rags are neatly creased.
It's an unusual subject matter, but a very interesting photo. :)

...perhaps a very proud down and out making sure that his rags are neatly creased. ... ou yes, the lady in red is just about to leave the scene after making sure she is neat, chic and ready to ... but has she also painted those red marks on the wall ... and why ... ?

The lady in red is the key element of course. Here we see Christina Aguilera taking a much needed long weekend break after signhing her contract with Orange in the Uk to promote their new Sony Ericsson Walkman phones. Capturing her 'Spanish' roots was too good an opportunity to miss.
But of course, the Paparatzi are everywhere and ever ready to donn disguise and take a shot. The skinny guy here, hiding within the skeletal frame of a headless horse, managed to snap a few as she strolled by; but his pasty fat guy partner, just ahead on all fours and looking to all the world like a chair, is now famous for revealing Christine's athletes foot problem on the front cover of Hello magazine.

To me, this is a wonderful composition. Like the way the line of light leads me to the lady in red. Also like the placement of the end of the walkway. And those splashes of red on the wall that seem to follow the lady add a nice touch. Good shot!

Well red denotes a red light district. :D
Seriously though, it's capturing the moments of the local people, the ironing board the chair the chic girl, the back street with graffiti.
olli, to me it makes a good picture and a very chatty composition for others to make comments on, so it's a winner.
