The too early early bird

Looked out on the deck and saw this guy at the heated bird bath. We don't usually see robins until much later. He won't find many worms this time of year!

Nice shot of the robin, and did you know the robins do not migrate the usually take cover in thickly wooded areas for protection from the wind and cold in the winter and you see them together in the spring for mating purposes. I also had a birder tell me this and had to look it myself to see if he was correct.

Awesome shot, I too thought they migrated. And when you first see one that meant that spring has sprung.
