How to clean my NEW lens ??@#!

I've just got my 10D and 70-200 2.8 but like an idiot i havent bought my UV filter (i've only had the lens 2 days when a buddy tried to take the lens cap off that wasn't there!!) How do i remove two pretty greasy fingermarks without buying special "solvents" and "tissues" -- maybe my softest oldest pair of undies or t-shirt ? What a silly thing to post on the Forum !

How about lens cleaner?

Nothing expensive.

Most camera shops sell a tiny kit that includes a small plastic bottle of lens cleaner solution, plus a camel hair blow-brush, plus some lens tissue.

Otherwise, when I am desperate, I use a half-drop of Windex and the softest piece of lint-free cotton cloth that I can find.
