Really, these are not great pics...but the subject is important to me...
My 4 year old has been watching daddy playing with his new 300D toy for a week or so, and wanted to get in the fun. I remember that I had a very old 1 MP Kodak Dig cam from about 5 years ago still sitting around. I chared the batteries, and let him do his thing....and he loved it...
Before going to bed...he asked...Daddy, maybe we can take our cameras and go on a nature walk....
What a proud daddy!!

Good to start them young. My daughter who is 6 loves to put my old Canon D60 round her neck and snaps at anything that she feels is a nice pic. She's even managed to get some nice ones.

Start them young Don't think my niece is yet ready to graduate to digital or film though I let my daughter at 2 with my help holding the canon A-80. Might not be the best but its a start. Now at 11 I'll let her handle the 20D with my supervision only.

My 2 year old picked up chimping from his older brother (standing behind him).
They love the old Mustek 0.8MP I let them use and I don't have to worry if they drop and break it.

They definitely like to do what we do. We are role models whether or not we intend to be. ....not that I stand like this when I'm shooting ;)

My son at the A&S with my 510A. I didn't catch him fast enough. He put the camera off his face. But the smile says it all.

Good point! My avatar was cropped to look that way though. On the other hand, I don't really watch myself when shooting, so maybe I do look like her! :)
