Like this one a lot Tim. I brought it into Photoshop (hope you don't mind?), and selectively sharpened the yellow pollen parts, cropped it at the top by about 20% and right about the same. Also the colour is PS was MUCH better. This post does not do it justice. I am almost always disappointed with the colour once posted on forums like these. Anyway congrats on a striking flower shot!

Excellent photo Tim. You could sharpen those parts as Martin has suggested or even try diffusing the whole image to see how it looks. I am learning that 'razor' sharpness is not always necessary or even desirable. I too took the liberty of downloading your image and playing around with it. Hope you don't mind.

You have taken us one step closer to a flower's core. The tints and tones that you return are quite something. And, because of your restricted view, we can concentrate on the features that you have selected. My wife loves flowers. I will to copy your approach.
