Oh, I don't know about that. The one of her on skis in 1972 is kind of cute. :) I'm assuming that's her... I can't read Italian.

Guys guys, you got it all wrong. Here's what happened.

In late 60's Belmondo was assigned to Eastern Europe (that's what it's called at the time). He was doing his work brilliantly, and putting too many hours at "work". Work, home...home, work. He missed his wife so much that one weekend he said hell with it, I'm going out to have a drink and write her the most beautiful letter. So he did.

As he was sitting in a smoke filled bar (no ventilation in Eastern Germany you know) sipping a muddy beer, he saw a beautiful women at the end of the bar...the rest is history, till Thomas uncovered it.
