The Shagbark Blues Society (http://campshagbark.texasmusicscene.net/index.htm), Paris Texas, is a gathering place for blues musicians from Texas and Oklahoma. Shagbark hosts a "jam session" on the first Saturday of every month.

Looks like really tough lighting! If there is room I'd suggest putting that 300mm f/2.8 on a tripod and shooting head and shoulders. I use my handheld but my lighting is as good as it gets. Must be great fun!

The light was bad and the room was really, really small. Besides, the Tamron is all I had with me.

Using that lens made it a tough job! Next time bring your other glass, and set a manual WB.
First two and last are nice considering circumstances, but could have been better I think, with faster lenses / no flash.
