is it a decent save or a waste of time

A mild retouch with PS 7 its weak around the hair but overall I think it ok for web use ….is it a decent save or a waste of time ?

I feel that the whiter shades of the cloth give a more dream-like feel to the photo and kind of puts more emphasis on the emotions of the moment. Nice Job!

Paul, I like #2. Changing the BG to solid white makes your subject more pronounced. Nicely done.
His/Her mother wouldn't think it a waste of time :)

How could ANY shot of a beautiful child be a waste of time??? They are both beautiful but the second one IS fantastic. It really brings out the colors of the child's clothes and skin. You might try leaving the child's skin tone the way it was though and see if the redness of the lips and arms looks better with the white cloth "dreamy" look of the blanket.
