last june 4 of us made the trek to Chicago for Hot Import Nights car show. was a blast. so we put it on the calendar for this year. well this year it was moved up a bit. March 25 to be exact. i think the last number said was 10 of us making the trek this time.

this is at the McCormick Place. which is near the water and soldier field.
last year we were able to get rooms there and it was convenient.
this year we were not so lucky. we are down the street at the travellodge.
we will leave here on march 23rd and drive 12hrs or so. hang out and catch the sites til the show on sat night. then head out sunday morning for another 12hr drive back here.
we have on the schedule
navy pier
watertower place i guess it is a big mall or something
walk around downtown and take in whatever we see. we did not get to do this long enough last year.
hancock observatory and or sears tower observation deck.
likely using public transportation from hotel to the sights. like mayb the trolley
still working out plans. do not want to cram too much in, but definitely want to see more than what we did last year. so this year we added a day to the trip.
