I'm going to go ahead and get rid of my 50 1.8. I use it far more than I thought I would so it's time to go ahead and get the real thing.

I spent a year and a half in Naha during the military. Is that the street where the bowling alley is? It sounds like the same street.

Mike, so you're getting rid of the 50mm f/1.8 and replacing it with? I assume the 50mm f/1.4? You love it. Fast, sharp, great for street and anything else you want to throw at it.

yeah, i had the 1.4 in my hands the other day and the build quality is what sold me. even at night I tend to shoot at 2.0-2.2 so the 1.4 wasn't so imporant but the build quality.... wow. I'm just going to wait until after PMA incase there is a supprise for me :-)
