Hello!

I used Zoombrowser 4.1 on Win 98 with my Powershot G2.
When i hit "Download Pictures" in the Camera-Window I could see my harddrive C:\ , CD-drive D:\ and a server-based network drive N:\ and then choose where to download the pictures to.

Now I installed Zoombrowser 5.5 on WinXP and when I want to download the pictures from the cam I can only see C:\ and CD-drive D:\
Installing the old version 4.1 also did not help me.

In Windows and all other programs I can still see N:\, only the Camera-window is not showing this drive.

Anyone who knows about that problem?

I have had a simular problem with all network drives in ZoomBrowser being read only, I posted a question in the post processing forum about it, but no one was able to shed any light on it.

From what reading I have done, for reasons unknown ZoomBrowser only supports writing (and hence downloading) to the local drives. I was hoping for a reg key to turn this feature off.

I have not used Zoombrowser since the first week I had it, have now taken it off my computer.
I down load to my hard drive with a card reader and work from there.
I sort and catalogue with iView and back up to cd's.
all so much easier.
You can transfer to other folders, copy a file, or open in other programmes directly from iView so it becomes almost a one stop shop.
You can also send a copy of your entire catalogue to another computer (thumbnails only)
