I don't have a 10D yet. But as the owner of this flash with D30, I have tested this flash on a 10D and it works. ETTL requires an extra 3210 foot. Check out Rob Galbraith formun for more information. :D

I use the Metz 54 on a 1D and 10D. Flash is set to TTL auto and the camera is set to "M"anual with arpeture at f4 or f5.6 and the shutter set to 125. This gives me very predictable results.

Ah, don't forget there is an "A" mode on Metz which is great for snap shots and it is also quite consistant.

I have the Metz 54 MZ-3 and the SCA 3102, ETTL seems to work fine. I've heard people say that a new SCA adapter is needed but I've not found anything so far that doesn't work as it should with the 3102.

Does anyone know what incompatabilities there are supposed to be, then maybe those with the 3102 adapter can test it and post the results?
