Hi,
I am considering the Canon/Adobe CS2 upgrade offer. I currently use Elements 2.0 but I'm still in the learning process. I'm wondering if it would be best to just upgrade to CS2 and learn that program instead?

Is this upgrade the full version of CS2 that I would get if I just bought it the normal fashion?

Is CS2 similar to Elements with regards to navigating the program? Is it just more indepth than Elements?

Can I still use Adobe Photoshop Album for storing and tagging all of my pictures if I use CS2?

Any thoughts or information on switching to CS2 would be greatly appreciated. I do not mind learning a new program, I just don't want to get in over my head.

Thank you for your help!
Laura:)

I upgraded from Elements to CS and then upgraded CS to CS2. Smartest thing I ever did, outside of moving to Canon products. Cheaper than paying the full load, thats for sure.

Yes! Upgrade, you will love the power it has. I upgraded from Elements 3.0 to CS2, best thing I ever did, should have done a long time ago.

You upgraded from Elements to CS2? I didn't think that was possible; I just had a look at the Warehouse Express web site and for the CS2 upgrade they say the following:
"Note: Adobe Photoshop upgrades do not apply to Adobe Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Album, Photoshop Limited Edition, or PhotoDeluxe licensed users"

EDIT: Ah ha...I just found a seperate upgrade product for upgrading from Elements! Not surprisingly, it is considerably more expensive! I assume this is the upgrade you got Ray?

You can do it through adobe's website store. Basically what you get is a discount off the full version. You have to give them your elements serial number to get the discount.
