excellent photos - I like the way they fold their wings straight back, adds to their martial appearance.

Thanks mecdave, haven't got a clue what the flower heads are, might have to track down a flower book from some where, or ask my wife when i see her.

excellent photos - I like the way they fold their wings straight back, adds to their martial appearance.
thanks racketman, it was the first time i've taken any shots of wasps, and had fun seeing how they went about doing what they do, and no stings:D:D:D
