i might have tried putting on a yellow filter to reduce the effect of the town against the moon, but im a noob :D

It's well done, but it lacks a strong point of interest to me. The town is so small as is the sign, and the horizon is flat

Mr Twitcho is right. If the sign was interesting I'd have used it as the focus point, but as is there is nothing really to 'look' at.

It is difficult to get the exposure on this type of shot. There's a trick though - take two shots, one for the highlights, and one for the shadows, and merge the good parts of both in Photoshop. This will bring out detail in the shadows, which could be interesting, and avoid blown highlights.
