The new model will contain many new and improved features...

Personally I can't wait to try the tech support feature!

I wonder how many FPS the warp drive gets?

I'm surprised that none of us has ever come across that pic before

I should have put an POTN ad to that camera in the first place.

LOL  In case you weren't aware of it, that picture originated here. And it's been around the world a couple of times already. I've lost count of how many times it's been posted here by people who didn't know that Pekka cooked that image up himself.

Actually I believe Chris is fully aware of it. That is why he posted that.

Nuff said. Hope this is a step in the right direction. :)

Spock was on the Enterprise 1701 not 1701-D. That's Picards ship (Yeah I know, Star Geek)

Great job there CS. All we need now is Pekka's pic or avatar in the VF.

This photo needs to be a new sticky. Is it in the read first section? It really should be.

Yeah I know, but it needed to have the D in the title because it's a digital camera. A little James Fry creative license there.

I don't know about sticky, but with the new rumor section I thought it needed to make a comeback. It took me some searching to find it since I didn't have it saved anywhere, but the net keeps everything it seems.

This is the most-posted pic on the internet that doesn't include Paris Hilton, and must have made Pekka a millionaire many many times over.

In 10 years time I predict it'll be seen in the same light as Da Vinci's helicopter sketch.

Done. The image is on my website so my post above should reflect the change.

Oh, and about the spock issue. He did show up on the D a few times, you can't forget that. It just means the Spock control links to the older ambassadorial Spock rather than the youthful "Pon Far baby, come and get me" Spock.

I also changed the link in my original post. Hopefully this version will proliferate.

I can't believe that crappy camera doesn't have an in-built IS knob, Film Dinamic Range mode and an Auto Sensor Clean button.

Gavin, CS's change is not reflected in the photo yet.

Edit: CS, can you give us a link to the pic in your site, just in case it takes Gavin a while to update it.

On the front, next to the depth of field preview button.

Oh and apparently the next version will have a DO button as well as the L button. It will make you lens smaller, lighter, and give odd looking hexagonal shapes to any point sources of light.

Carzee

...and it needs a Weddings Autopilot switch.

I think instead of all the seperate beverage buttons to work with everyones individual taste we instead need a attractive wait staff call service button.

It'd solve these dilemas while giving us something else to point the camera at.

Maybe its the Holo-Cam prototype that was always used by the Doctor in Star Trek Voyager? Hmm...
