I have a problem all of a sudden with my Canon s750 printer. I am hoping someone might point me in the right direction. Here's the story:
Rather than replace my ink with new cartridges, this time I tried an ink refill in two cartridges. Afterward, I aligned the printheads and printed a test sheet with no problem.
A short time later the same day, I decided to move the location of my printer. When I reconnected it, the status window tells me the printer is not responding, but the printer light shows online and ready. I can't print anything from any software. It has a USB connection. I have tried changing cables. I also replaced all ink cartridges with new Canon cartridges, and cleaned the print head. Nothing helped.
I guess I have two questions...
1) Is it likely that the refill ink was responsible for this?
2) How do I get the printer working again? Or am I just stuck replacing it.
Any help is appreciated.
