Partial photo displayed sometimes

Hi,

Does anyone know why sometimes when I look my photos with IE 6.x they are displayed only partially? Image borders are rendered around this partial photo. After refresh everything looks OK.

I have seen this with IE and with all my Windows XP Pro installations I've had. It must be some bug in IE cache - there's a lot of stuff going on there in IE, Bill only knows what.

The html protocol works basically so that EE gives browser address to the image and by using IMG tag instructs it to retrieve that image. After EE (or any html page) has given this "do this!" command it's up to the browser to actually retrieve and display the photo.

In sooncoming EE 1.5 there is a security setting which makes every large image filename random on the fly so browser can't use the cache. I think I haven't see that partial image rendering bug with that mode.

You are right, I am having this problem only with Windows XP.

One more reason to wait for version 1.5...

I've noticed it too in my gallery, but only with the EE at the default setting of "Choice 1" in "Global Settings". When I changed it to "Choice 3" to enable multiarea navigation (and also changed to Multiarea Navigation setting), all works fine. I've not tried only Choice 3 without multiarea.
I'm using IE 6 in XP SP1 to browse.
