This is the system that usually I use for the Camera-Car, even usually I prefer to have at least 4 points of support, for having more stability.
Mine rigs it's formed from Avenger and Manfrotto system, but I use also various parts constructed from me.
In this case I use the light Canon 20D, with the 18-55, why are only the tests, but usually mount optical more better like the 14 milimeter.
Next I will make other tests, with more extreme angles-shot.

They're working now. That's a nice looking rig. Could you take s few close-ups of it & post a link here? (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=58609&highlight=cobble) In the long run, it will save a lot of typing to answer questions when you can just point someone to the link. ;)

No offence, but the same effect can be achieved with only one suction cup on the side of the car.

The photos that you get from this are quite boring as well because you can't get far enough away from the car to get an interesting angle.

But thanks for posting it anyway.

Yes! You have reason.
In fact this is only one of the tests that I'm making.
I have already made of the tests, in order to see all the Car, holding distant the DigitalCamera.
This image can be realized also with one cup.
In fact it is only an attempt in order to study other possible more distant angles-shot, the fact is that currently in Italy us to be cold and therefore the times are reduced in order to be to mount all the rigs.
In the next weeks with a milder temperature the new tests will already be able to be made. 8-)

Thanks for posting the pics of your rig... I'm in the process of figuring out my own, and I appreciate you showing what is generally pretty secretive.

Could you possible post some more detail, as well as what works and doesn't with your current set up???? :)

Very nice shots, I can see why you used the other suction cup for stability. I'd play it safe also, if I was dangling so much camera gear off the side of my car! :)

Stop spamming your ****ty website and product all over the forums. Well, he's been banned. OTOH, you guys have asked for examples of how that type of shot was taken before, so I wouldn't call it spamming as there was only one post about the rig. Better bookmark the site now, as he won't be back.

most rig shots are boring anyway but maybe he was just showing you what you get. you don't always need to have the whole car in either
