Greetings,
Took this picture during chinese new year 2 weeks ago while photographing the temple lights up. I want to share this photo with you people cause as I was going through some of my children photos, I just feel blessed that I'm able to give my children proper shelter. Not the sharpest of images I've taken, it was under very dim light condition and have to open my ef50 to f1.4. Please share your thoughts...

Greetings,
Well, I tried B&W. I gives a different feeling to it. But it doesn't tell the actuall scene as I want. I want to show it was night time and the baby was sleeping while being looked after by the elders siblings.

Good candid shot. Even though they're street kids, the expression still show they are happy, playing. That's why I like this shot.

Great shot. It does tell a story, I go with the color shot.

I think you are right to keep it in colour,it adds to the warmth of the scene. I have mixed feelings about the scene though. Part of me wants to scoop them up , protect them and provide them with everything they need. Then there's the other side of me which stands in awe of them. The fact that they have no material things around them yet they are still relaxed and happy says a lot about how we can sometimes get lost in the rat race and lose sight of what really matters. Inspiring imagr. Thanks for sharing.

My feelings and thoughts too, Chell, well said.

Poor little mites ... :(

A thought provoking photograph: well done, George.

Hope you don't mind George; I've had a play with your pic but it's not really the sharpest of base images.

The original is a lovely shot. The children look clean and reasonably well cared for. I don't like the alternative treatment.

My first thought also was that they look awfully clean and have good haircuts for street kids.
