Just wondering how others feel...
Say you got great photos of something. They are everything you could
have wished for. Do you lose motivation in shooting that same subject again?
This will apply more to specific "things", like birds etc.

Not at all.
I'm always looking to improve what I shoot. If I get some shots that are, far and away, better than anything I've done before, well, I've just set the bar a bit higher for myself...

There's never perfect photo. With every single photo at least something could always be better. And I guess that answer your question :)

That assumes the final photo is what you're interested in. Of course it matters but the process, for me, is at least as important; relaxing, walking around, developing a good eye, representing the subject, composition, exposure, understanding the camera technology, and so on. If you only focus on the 'climax' then you are missing so much more that is important and enjoyable about photography.

dunno...on the streets I often feel almost orgasmic when I know that I "nailed it"....and then the feeling comes back during processing....it was the same with film and the darkroom for me...I felt that I nailed it alot...otherwise, why on earth would I spend sooo much time doing what I do....if I didn't feel that I was nailing it...I'd do something else....
you should have that feeling often making images...if not, do something else....
afterall...you know what you want in an image...you just have to find it out there.....capture it and process it...then do it again and again.....don

You can never get the perfect photo, I believe no matter how good a shot is there is always some way to improve it.
I'm too tired to insert innuendo sorry, i'll try and come up with something regarding my girlfriend and photography tomorrow ;)
