Can anyone tell me whether ZoomBrowser EX 4.1 has a built in Image Editor? - I tried looking under Help but all it says is to select my preferred Image Editor by going to Tools|Preferences|Image Editor tab - I'm running Windows XP Pro - should I be looking to see whether there is a built in Image Editor in one of the Microsoft loaded programs? - I'd rather not :-)
I don't know whether it's relevant but my camera is an Ixus 400 purchased approximately 3 months ago.

Most here use Photoshop,. Photoshop Elements is a scaled down vdrsion that sells for $100.00 as opposed to the $600.00 or so for the full Photoshop.
Elements is an amazing program for the money. Don't confuse it with Photoshop LE though.

You may also want to check out an open source graphics project call "The Gimp". It has many of the same features as photoshop (though a little less refined), plus loads more. Its a little tricky to get the hang of initially, but I have had very impressive results with it, some even better than photoshop (which I use as well). - Its free by the way.
The Gimp website is at: http://www.gimp.org
Have a look and a read then go to http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/ to downloads the windows version of it.

Thanks for posting the link to GIMP.
I have used GIMP on the Linux OS for some editing, and I don't have Photoshop. Since my new PC does not have Linux on it, I was glad to see that GIMP has a Windows version.
It was nice to run GIMP again!
